  1. Prevailing Truck Rental Rate - The Department of Labor & Industry has set up rates that need to be paid to trucks on projects that are funded with local, state, or federal funds.  This link brings you to the Department of Labor & Industry's website.  The regions of the state are broken up and show the corresponding current prevailing truck rental rates. 
  2. Prevailing Wage - If a company driver is put on a certified job, that driver needs to be paid prevailing wage.   The following link shows you our region, region (9), and the corresponding prevailing wage rates. 
  3. Month End Truck Reports - This link brings you to a list of all the reporting you might need for a job.  There is Month End Trucking Reports for ITOs and MTOs.  These are forms that Jennifer fills out every month for certified jobs that our trucks worked on.  There is also all the information for Certified Payroll if you are an MTO who put a driver on a certified job. 
  4. Fuel Prices - Check out this link to the Energy Information Administration to see what fuel prices have been doing. 
  5. PTO Refunds - Minnesota Department of Revenue will pay a refund on tax paid on gasoline or special fuel used to operate a power take-off unit (PTO)!  Claims must be filed within one year of the date of purchase or within 60 days of the end of the accounting year when filed on a calendar or fiscal year basis.  More than one claim may be filed during a calendar year.  This link brings you to Minnesota Department of Revenue's information form.  Because 2008 brought increases to the motor fuel tax rate, you will need to fill out separate refund forms for each of the following:
